1. Each state was assigned Worlds Qual Spots based on the number or registered and paid teams the state had last year.
2. GA and FL were two of the largest states in the country.
3. Events past 3/3/2012 cannot be qualifiers
4. Events that limit participation cannot be qualifiers (closed TSA events for ex).  League Play is the exception
5. Worlds Qualification Guidelines are posted here
6. National Qual Guidelines are posted here (this is a great option if you can't make it to California!)

SE VEX Kicks Off Season with Tempest In Tampa (TNT)

I couldn't believe the level of competition this early in the season.  Teams came out loaded for bear ...
Special thanks to Patrick Macaraeg, Eastlake and Team Aperature for an oustanding event.
In the end it was those indomitable ViBots from McLane Middle School along with Carver Middle School that won the day.
That's right Florida - you need to be worried about those MIDDLE SCHOOL teams!  They are ferocious!

2nd Annual Upward Bound Tournament a HUGE success!!!

In addition to GA and SC, we added KY this year and boy was it fun!!

Trident did an excellent job of hosting the event and special kudos to the parents that provided all the food!

We have to recognize the Kentucky teams, they just started VEX 3 weeks ago and made it all the way to the Semi-Finals!

Looks like we will be in Kentucky next year and already have another school joining us!  Can't wait ...
